A few words from the Social Group…

coffeeAs you know we now hold a coffee morning/gathering on every second Tuesday of the month at the Berechurch Arms in Shrub End Road in Colchester. We chose this venue because it has plenty of parking, is fully wheelchair accessible (including the loo) and they are very happy to accommodate a rowdy group of MSers that varies in size from month to month!

While we’ve had a good turnout so far, we really feel that the more the merrier…and if we’re honest, it’d be nice to see some new faces! With this in mind, we wondered if perhaps some of you just aren’t able to make it on a Tuesday, so from now on, we will be arranging an extra gathering every month, but held on a different day of the week each time. We hope that this will enable more of you to join us!

Now, we haven’t just been sitting around drinking tea you know! We’ve also got plans underway for another Family Barbecue this summer and are currently working out the finer details for a bowling afternoon to take place in May.

As always, we welcome any suggestions for accessible/ inclusive activities, so please do drop any ideas in the box at Josephs Court and keep an eye on the noticeboard for any upcoming events.

Best wishes
Keith, Den, Tracy, Angela, Clare, Karl, Caron and Canas
